    After breakfast, embark on an optional sightseeing tour of the most important sights of the Austrian capital: the Opera House, the City Hall, the Parliament, the Burgtheater and the splendid Imperial Hofburg Palace. In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace or enjoy the optional visit to Schonbrunn Palace. At midnight, the ship will leave the Austrian capital. Overnight on board.

    Day 3

    Early in the morning we will arrive in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Our optional guided tour will give you a tour of this imperial city. We will see, among other fascinating sights, the National Theatre, St. Martin's Cathedral, Michael's Gate, the old town hall and the impressive rock fortress. In the afternoon, we leave Bratislava for Budapest. Overnight on board.

    Day 4

    Taking this cruise you are surely looking for Budapest, capital of Hungary. The ship arrives after lunch and docks in the very heart of the city till the evening.

    So, take your camera, put on comfortable shoes and do not foreget a map to visit all the main places of that fantastic cities!

    Places to visit: Buda Castle, Parliament House, Great Synagogue, St Stephen’s Basilica, Great Market Hall, etc.

    Mohacs and Vukovar

    Early in the morning, we will arrive in Mohacs, a small Hungarian village that played a big role in the history of Europe. In 1526, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent defeated the troops of King Louis II of Hungary, beginning the reign of the Ottoman Empire which lasted for more than a century and a half until the Habsburg troops returned the land in 1687. Nowadays, it is a peaceful city known for its bizarre carnival of the Busos. Free morning to discover the city at your own pace. Police check at the border with Serbia. In Vukovar you will discover among other places of interest the Vukovar Water Tower and the Eltz Palace. Overnight on board.

    Early in the morning we will arrive in Novi Sad, which was founded by orthodox Serbs in the 17th century, and already in the 18th-19th centuries it became a cultural capital and an important commercial centre, thanks to which it received its second name "Serbian Athens". The very name "Novi Sad" in Serbian means "new garden". The rich cultural heritage of the city is preserved by numerous museums, among which the most interesting are the Museum of Vojvodina and the ethnic brvnara complex, the Museum of the City of Novi Sad located in the fortress and its collection of foreign art. The main attraction of Novi Sad is the medieval fortress of Petrovaradin. Overnight on board.

    Day 8

    / June 30, 2022

    Early in the morning we will arrive in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and one of the oldest cities in Europe. The city is home to countless monuments from different eras and cultures, including the Kalemegdan Fortress, the Temple of St. Sava, Chukur Fountain, the Courthouse, the Parliament, St. Mark's Church. Optional guided tour with interesting facts about the turbulent history of Belgrade. Free afternoon. Don't miss a visit to the Skadarlija quarter to taste the best dishes of Serbian cuisine. On a hot day, you can visit the island of Ada Ciganlija with artificial beaches on the river bank and taste local beers or enjoy outdoor activities. Overnight on board.



    Day 9

    Navigation, Iron Gates and Vidin

    The Iron Gates is an impressive canyon of the Danube River on the border between Serbia and Romania. As the boat moves along, there are spectacular images of the mountains as well as important monuments, including the medieval fortress of Golubac, Trajan's Bridge, the Tabula Traiana (a slab dedicated to Emperor Trajan) and the face of King Decebalus carved into a 40-meter rock. Enjoy sailing through the most impressive gorge in Europe. Before dinner we will anchor in Vidin. Overnight on board.

    / July 2, 2022

    Enjoy a walking tour of this charming Bulgarian river port. Vidin is home to the best preserved and most strategically important medieval fortress of the country "Baba Vida". According to legend the fortress was built by an unmarried Bulgarian princess, hence the name which translates as "Grandmother Vida". Here you can also enjoy beautiful views of nature and the river bank. The amenities of this sprawling city don't stop with the fortress, it also boasts a huge communist-era monument and several Orthodox churches scattered around the city's main square. Overnight on board.
