Day 1

MAINZ

Boarding from 16:00. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in the city. Welcome cocktail. Dinner and overnight on board.


Day 2

MANNHEIM

Full board on board. In the morning we will arrive in Mannheim, the German city where in 1886 the first Carl Benz automobile began to circulate through its streets. The city offers a wide range of monuments, culture, art and gastronomy. Among numerous monuments are the second largest baroque palace in Europe and the beautiful Water Tower. Optional excursion to Heidelberg. Enjoy the unforgettable scenery of the Rhine from the Sol Bridge. Overnight on board.


Day 3

STRASBOURG

Full board on board. In the morning, we arrive in Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region. The historic center, Grande Île, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 for being a clear example of a medieval city. The place where the canals are conglomerated is called the Petite France, a former district of fishermen and millers. In addition to Petite France, the historic center houses a large number of monuments of interest, highlighting the cathedral that stands imperiously as a symbol of the city. Optional visit of the most emblematic sights of the city. In the evening, the Captain's dinner will take place. Overnight on board.


Day 4

BORMES/ RÜDESHEIM

Full board on board. In the morning we arrive in Bormes. The Germanic peoples made Bormes their capital. The city is also famous for its Romanesque architecture. The highlight of the visit is the 11th century St. Peter's Cathedral. With its four towers and twin domes, this spectacular old building ranks alongside the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz as one of the finest achievements of the High Romanesque style. The nave is particularly impressive, rising some 27 meters, while its domes reach heights of 40 meters. Bormes is also a popular base for a tour of the Deutsche Weinstrasse, a 50-mile route through local wine towns. Optional visit. In the afternoon, we will drop anchor in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited towns in the country. Historical monuments such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle or the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle invite you to spend some time here.  Overnight on board.


Day 5

COBLENZ

Full board on board. In the early afternoon we will arrive in Koblenz, one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. In this beautiful city, the Rhine and the Moselle meet in the world famous “German Bend”. The spectacular landscape formed by four central massifs, vineyards and forests surround this town, which has been in existence for more than 2,000 years. Optional guided tour.


Day 6

COCHEM/ ALKEN

Full board on board. Early in the morning we will arrive in Cochem, a charming town in the Moselle wine region.  It is known for its fabulous wines and its picturesque beauty. In addition, the Cochem Castle, which has more than 1,000 years of history and has been restored in the last 100 years, stands out. In the afternoon we will arrive in Alken, one of the villages on the banks of the Moselle. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming streets. Overnight on board.


Day 7

BOPPARD

Full board on board. At noon we will arrive in Boppard, which offers a variety of tourist attractions that highlight its natural beauty and rich history, such as: Sterrenberg Castle and Liebenstein Castle, St. Severinus Church or Boppard Bay. In the evening, the Captain's dinner will take place.  Overnight on board.


Day 8

MAINZ

Disembarkation after breakfast. End of our services.

Amenities

On the Promenade Bridge, located around the grand spiral staircase leading to the Main Deck, you will find the lobby and reception. In this area there is a large library with comfortable seats and an open fireplace surrounded with large sofas. The elegant and spacious restaurant is located on the Main deck. The Sol bridge is divided into 2 areas: a large open area with sun loungers and a covered area with a large awning. The Main deck and the Promenade deck are connected by a large elevator with capacity for up to 4 people. The Sol Bridge can be accessed from the Promenade Bridge by an outdoor chairlift. Without a doubt, you will spend a relaxing stay on board.


Accommodation

The passenger cabins are distributed between two decks: Promenade and Main. They are spacious rooms of about 12m2 that have two beds that convert into a sofa during the day to create extra space (Main deck). The cabins have a large desk with a chair and a large mirror. All cabins are equipped with air conditioning/heating that can be regulated individually, satellite TV with several channels with a remote control, safe, telephone and hairdryer. An elegant bathroom is equipped with a shower and a sink. The cabins on the Main deck have panoramic windows, while the cabins on the Promenade deck have a French balcony.
