Here you will find the magical Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum with its iconic windmills, traditional colorful houses, and craft workshops where you can see how clogs are made or try local cheese and chocolate. At dinnertime, we will arrive in Wijk bij Duurstede, a town located at the confluence of the Kromme Rijn and Lek rivers. It is a city with a rich history dating back to the Early Iron Age and Roman times. Duurstede Castle, with its 13th-century square tower, is one of the city's most iconic monuments. The best thing to do in Wijk bij Duurstede is to stroll through the monumental buildings of the old town. It is impossible to get lost in the compact city center. Don't miss Peperstraat for the prettiest shops and stroll under the trees in Mazijk with views of the Grote Kerk.

DAY 3 WIJK BIJ DUURSTEDE / ARNHEM

Full board on board. Free morning. Explore the city at your own pace. Don't miss Duurstede Castle during your visit to Wijk: one of the oldest medieval castle ruins in the Netherlands. The Grote Kerk church is one of the most important national monuments in Wijk bij Duurstede and is located in the heart of the Markt center. Another special icon in Wijk bij Duurstede: the Rijn en Lek mill. The only mill in the Netherlands built on a city gate and also the only one you can walk under.

In the evening, we will arrive in Arnhem, known for its crucial role in World War II during the Battle of Arnhem, part of Operation Market Garden. Overnight stop in the city. Night on board.

Día 4

DAY 4 ARNHEM / NIJMEGEN

Full board on board. Free morning in Arnhem. The city offers a rich historical experience, highlighting the John Frost Bridge and the Hartenstein Airborne Museum. Although it was devastated during the war, today it is a modern and green city, with numerous parks and hills that have earned it the nickname “green city.” For nature lovers, the Veluwe National Park, one of the largest in the Netherlands, is a short distance away, home to the Kröller-Müller Museum with one of the largest collections of Van Gogh in the world. The city is also a fashion center, with the fashion district (Modekwartier) and ArtEZ, one of the best design academies in the country.

Before dinner, we will arrive in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, with a rich history dating back to Roman times, evidenced by well-preserved archaeological sites and monuments. Guided city tour. The impressive St. Stevenskerk and the Valkhof Museum offer visitors a window into its medieval past, while the Waalbrug Bridge connects the city with panoramic views of the Waal River. Cultural diversity is evident in places such as the Museumpark Orientalis, where visitors can explore authentic recreations of Middle Eastern landscapes and buildings. In addition to its historical aspects, Nijmegen offers green spaces such as Het Goffertpark and Hunnerpark, providing residents and visitors with peaceful areas to relax and enjoy nature. Afternoon of sailing. Enjoy the unforgettable scenery offered by the Rhine from the Sol Bridge. Overnight stop in the city. Night on board.

Día 5

DAY 5 NIJMEGEN / AMSTERDAM

Full board on board. In the early morning, we will leave Nijmegen and head to Amsterdam, where we will arrive at lunchtime. Known as the “Venice of the North” for its more than 100 km of canals and 80 bridges, the city offers a picturesque landscape that attracts millions of visitors every year. One of Amsterdam's main attractions is its rich cultural and museum offerings. The Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of the artist's works, with nearly 200 paintings and drawings, as well as digital exhibitions about his life. The Rijksmuseum in Museumplein has over a million objects, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer. Another must-see is the Anne Frank House, a museum commemorating the Holocaust that allows visitors to walk through the rooms where the young Jewish girl hid during World War II. The heart of the city, Dam Square, is an iconic location where you will find the Royal Palace, restored in 2009, and the Nieuwe Kerk church, which was historically the site of royal coronations. Surrounding it is the Red Light District, an area that attracts tourists with its red-lit shop windows and unique atmosphere.
