Day 2 | VIENNA Full board on board. After breakfast, embark on an optional panoramic sightseeing tour of the most important sights of Austria's capital: the Opera House, City Hall, Parliament House, Burgtheater and the splendid Hofburg Imperial Palace. In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace or enjoy the optional visit to Schonbrunn Palace. At midnight, the ship will leave the Austrian capital and sail towards Bratislava. Day 3 | BRATISLAVA Full board on board. Early in the morning we will arrive in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Our optional guided tour will offer you a tour of this imperial city. We will see, among other fascinating sights, the National Theater, St. Martin's Cathedral, Michael's Gate, the old town hall and the impressive rock fortress. In the afternoon, we leave Bratislava for Budapest. Overnight on board. |

Day 4 | BUDAPEST Full board on board. After lunch, we will arrive in Budapest, the capital of Hungary divided by the mighty Danube into two parts: traditional "Buda" and cosmopolitan "Pest". We will take an optional guided tour through the wide boulevards of the city to the famous Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes' Square, the Market Square, the Chain Bridge and the Fisherman's Bastion with its spectacular views over the city. You cannot miss Budapest at night when the city dresses up. Night stopover in the city. Overnight on board. |

Day 5 | BUDAPEST Full board on board. We continue to Budapest. The differences between Buda and Pest create an interesting contrast between the west bank and the east bank. The hilly Buda is located in the west and is characterized by narrow cobblestone streets with a mixture of medieval and neoclassical buildings, completely rebuilt after World War II. The flat city of Pest is in the east and consists of wide boulevards with Art Deco buildings. The city presents a mixture of Turkish, Venetian, imperial and Art Nouveau styles and influences, forming an unbalanced mosaic of disparate styles. Discover it at your own pace. Overnight on board. |

Day 6 | MOHACS Full board on board. After breakfast, we will arrive in Mohacs, a small Hungarian village that played a big role in the history of Europe. In 1526, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent defeated the troops of King Louis II of Hungary thus beginning the reign of the Ottoman Empire which lasted more than a century and a half until the Habsburg troops returned to these lands in 1687. Today, it is a peaceful city known for its bizarre carnival of the Busos. Free morning to discover the city at your own pace. Or take the optional visit to the nearby town of Pecs, a town with the richest Roman-era find in Central Europe, recognized by Unesco and designated a World Heritage Site (reservation required). Day 7 | VUKOVAR / NOVI SAD Full board on board. Early in the morning, we will arrive in Vukovar, a city devastated during the Croatian War of Independence. Among the most attractive buildings in Vukovar, all damaged in the Yugoslav Wars, are the Eltz Mansion, some Baroque houses in the city center, the Franciscan monastery, the Catholic parish church of St. James, the Orthodox church of St. Nicholas and the birthplace of Lavoslav Ruži?ka, a native of Vukovar and Nobel Prize winner. Free morning to discover the city at your own pace. Or take the optional guided walking tour of the city (advance reservation only). Most of the afternoon will be spent in the Serbian town of Novi Sad, known as "the Athens of Serbia". The nerve center of Novi Sad is the beautiful Liberty Square where in addition to several imposing palaces we find two of the most important buildings in the city, the Town Hall and the Catholic Cathedral noted for its tall spire. From the Liberty Square there are five streets, all of them for pedestrians, which ensure a leisurely stroll through the city. Free afternoon to discover the city at your own pace. Day 8 | BELGRADE Full board on board. Early in the morning, we will arrive in Belgrade, capital of Serbia and one of the oldest cities in Europe. The city is home to countless monuments from different eras and cultures, including the Kalemegdan fortress, the temple of St. Sava, Chukur fountain, the Court building, the Parliament, St. Mark's Church. We will take an optional guided tour that will provide interesting facts about the turbulent history of Belgrade. Afternoon at leisure. Be sure to visit the Skadarlija district to taste the best dishes of Serbian cuisine. On a hot day, you can visit the island of Ada Ciganlija with artificial beaches on the river bank and taste local beers or enjoy outdoor activities. Overnight on board. |

Day 9 | SAILING THROUGH THE IRON GATES Full board on board. The Iron Gates is an impressive canyon of the Danube River on the border between Serbia and Romania. As the ship sails on, there are spectacular images of the mountains as well as important monuments, including the medieval fortress of Golubac, Trajan's Bridge, the Tabula Traiana (a slab dedicated to Emperor Trajan) and the face of King Decebalus carved into a 40-meter rock. Enjoy sailing through the most impressive gorge in Europe. Overnight on board. |

Day 10 | VIDIN Full board on board. In the early morning, arrive in Vidin, a small town on the banks of the Danube known for housing the only fully preserved medieval fortress in all of Bulgaria. The Romanian capital is an elegant city where splendid buildings from the beginning of the 20th century coexist with the huge architecture of the communist era (among them, the Palace of Parliament, the largest administrative building in the world). You will be attended by a friendly and highly professional team. Payments can be made in Euros or with credit cards (Visa/Mastercard). Smoking is prohibited on board the ship, except on the Sun Deck.
Accommodation
All cabins (approx. 14 m²) are exterior, comfortable and tastefully decorated and have shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, telephone, safe, individually controlled heating/air conditioning. The windows of the Lower Deck cabins are fixed and cannot be opened. The Main Deck cabins have opening panoramic windows, and the Upper Deck cabins have French balconies. All double beds can be separated. Staterooms 353, 354, 359 and 360 on the Upper Deck have bathtubs instead of showers.
