Our cruise starts in Düsseldorf, the German city famous for its carnival. The elegant and bustling city on the Rhine is known for its fashion, shopping and cultural offerings. The Königsallee, one of the most luxurious avenues in Europe, is just a stone's throw away from the Altstadt, the old town with its 260 bars and restaurants, whose style is world famous. Its narrow streets are full of life and the cultural offer is full of spectacular events and exhibitions. Boarding from 15:00. Welcome dinner. Overnight on board.
DAY 2 KOBLENZ
Full board on board. After breakfast we will arrive in Koblenz, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany. The city is located in the world famous "German Corner". The spectacular landscape of four central massifs, vineyards and forests surrounds this town, whose more than two thousand years of existence is reflected in the architectural heritage in the form of wonderful churches and palaces, old aristocratic manors and the magnificent manor houses of the gentry. City tour (min. 10 pax). Overnight on board.
DAY 3 MAINZ / RÜDESHEIM
Full board on board. We arrive in the morning in Mainz, a city with a historical heritage of almost 2000 years. The cityscape is dominated by the cathedral. In the shadow of the cathedral lies medieval Mainz, where life goes on in the narrow, narrow streets, in the numerous little shops, boutiques and cafés surrounding the wonderful Kirschgarten with its romantic half-timbered houses. The panorama of Mainz seen from the Rhine side seems rather restrained. It is dominated by two epochs: Modernism with the Town Hall, the Hilton Hotel and the Congress Centre in the Rheingoldhalle, and the Baroque or Renaissance with the Neues Zeughaus (New Arsenal), the Deutschordenshaus and the Palace of the Princes Electors.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited towns in the country. Historical monuments such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle or the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle invite you to spend some time here. Overnight stopover in the city. Overnight on board.
DAY 4 COLOGNE / DÜSSELDORF
Full board on board. After lunch, arrive in Cologne, Germany's oldest city, home to countless cultural and historical treasures, world-famous museums and a diverse art scene. Take a journey through 2000 years of history and visit cultural monuments from the time of the Roman Empire to modern times. Guided tour of Cologne (min. 10 pax). In the evening, the Captain's Dinner will take place. Overnight stopover in Düsseldorf. Overnight on board.
