Day 1
PORTO
Boarding from 15:00 at Douro Marina. After arrival formalities, time to relax on board. In the evening, presentation of the crew and welcome dinner. Evening stopover in the locality. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 2
RÉGUA / PINHAO

Full board on board. Morning sailing. Take advantage of the morning to admire the wonderful views offered by the Douro Valley. At midday, we will arrive in Régua. It was here in 1756 that the Royal General Company of Agriculture of the Douro Vineyards was founded, establishing the first region in the world with a designation of origin for wine production. In this region, the vineyards cultivated on terraces on the slopes along the river offer beautiful panoramic views that can be admired from the many viewpoints in the area, among which we highlight San Leonardo in Galafura and San António do Loureiro. In the surrounding area, the Caldas de Moledo spa, located on the right bank of the Douro, has its own jetty and is a pleasant place for a relaxing holiday.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at Pinhao, a town considered to be the centre of the Douro Region of Origin, where many of the Port wine estates are located, some of which offer accommodation in the form of rural tourism. Also worth mentioning is the railway station building, built at the end of the 19th century, whose interior is entirely covered with tile panels.  Overnight stop in the town.

Day 3
POCHINHO / VEGA DE TERRÓN

Full board on board. In the morning, we dock at Pocinho, a small village located in the northern region of Portugal, known for being the starting point of the railway line known as the Douro Line. The peculiarity of this route is that the rails and sleepers are placed just a few metres from the river water.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at the Vega de Terrón pier, located where the Águeda River flows into the Douro. The old border pier was converted into a river pier at the end of the 19th century and was rebuilt at the end of the 20th century for tourism and commercial purposes. The pier belongs to the municipality of La Fregeneda in the province of Salamanca and is located in the most attractive tourist spot called the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. La Fregeneda was the last railway station before the border. The railway linked the town of Boadilla with Barca d'Alva in Portugal. From this point, via the railway hub of Pocinho, it reached the Atlantic in Porto. Today, this line is closed and forms part of the Arribes greenway.  Overnight stop in the town. Dinner and night on board.

Day 4
BARCA D'ALVA

Full board on board. This small village was for a century the point where the railway lines connecting Salamanca and Oporto met. An iron bridge over the River Águeda allowed the railway to pass between the two countries and linked this station with La Fregeneda in Salamanca. Barca d'Alva is located within the Duero International Natural Park with its impressive gorges of the Duero and Águeda rivers that serve as a natural border between Spain and Portugal. Overnight stop in the town. Night on board.

Day 5
PINHAO / RÉGUA (LAMEGO)

Full board on board. During the morning, take advantage of the sailing hours to admire the wonderful views offered by the Douro Valley. At midday, we stop again in Pinhao to enjoy the best wineries in the Douro Valley. In the early afternoon, we will arrive in the town of Régua. Overnight stop in the town. Dinner and night on board.

Day 6
RÉGUA / DOURO MARINA

Full board on board. Early in the morning, we depart from Régua for Porto, excited about what the journey has in store for us. After a trip filled with enchanting landscapes, we will arrive at our destination just after lunch.

Once in Porto, we will have the entire afternoon free to explore its charms. From its fascinating architecture to its picturesque cobbled streets, every corner promises to delight us with its beauty and history. We can stroll along the Douro River, visit iconic vineyards or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of its squares. Overnight stop in the town. Dinner and night on board.

Day 7
DOURO MARINA

Full board on board. Morning in Douro Marina, considered the nautical gateway to the tourist Douro and the northern region of Portugal. It promotes an innovative concept that reflects the importance of sport, leisure, well-being and a deep respect for nature. In the surrounding area, there are restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy the landscape and tranquillity of the Douro River.

Porto is a real feast for the eyes, a city that wins you over from the very first moment thanks to its hills, its decadent houses, but with a magical atmosphere and above all thanks to the Ribeira district, from where you can admire an incredible view and the boats passing under the Ponte Dom Luis I, an iron construction built by a close collaborator of Gustave Eiffel. Panoramic tour of Porto (min group requiered). Discover the vibrant city of Porto, with its old town, the Ribeira and its iconic port wine cellars. Overnight stop in the town. Dinner and night on board.
